Mommy and Me

It was Edgar Allen Poe, who beautifully wrote what a mother’s love is all about in his poem,

“Because I feel that, in the Heavens above,

The angels, whispering to one another,

Can find, among their burning terms of love,

None so devotional as that of “Mother,”

Therefore by that dear name I long have called you”

And there are invariably moments, in every Mommy and Me session, where I find myself just holding my camera, frozen, seeing the mother and her child play. I catch myself smiling seeing those moments as I think about my own little boy and the love I have for him in my heart. And at these moments I realize, that I love what I do, to capture the joys of life, with my lens. Our babies grow up so fast and if we do not take the time to just sit and and take in the moment- we might miss it. It is amazing what 30 minutes of one on one time with your little ones can do for the soul!
